Walter Lee Newell was the owner and operator of the Newell Saddle Shop. The shop was located in Saint Louis starting around 1935 and closed around 1950. Unfortunately the only thing left of the Newell Saddle shop are the saddles that remain in use today. All of the tools and stamps have been lost.

Newell 574B Saddle
The 574B is listed in the 1948-1949 catalog as the Black Beauty.
This saddle must have been Custom ordered as it only has nickel spots across the back of the seat.
